Beachcomber Coffee was founded in 2015 in Gibsons, British Columbia, and is an award-winning specialty coffee roaster. They perfectly capture the laid-back lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast and pride themselves on quality, sustainability, and community. Beachcomber has grown from a small-batch roastery into a celebrated Canadian lifestyle brand—one that delivers its coastal experience through every cup of coffee!

After acquiring and transforming Truffles Café in Lower Gibsons, Beachcomber opened its first brick-and-mortar location in 2018. Expansion continued in 2019 with the launch of a grab-and-go café at Sunnycrest Mall, bringing Beachcomber’s signature blends to even more locals and visitors.

In 2021, the company expanded its coastal footprint with Bed & Beachcomber, a 600-square-foot industrial loft and one of the most unique Airbnbs on the Sunshine Coast. By 2022, Beachcomber’s founder and CEO invested in Basted Baker, an award-winning breakfast and brunch spot in Sechelt, where Beachcomber roasts a custom “Basted Baker Blend” for the restaurant’s coffee program.
