Carzan Local Meats was founded by Carter and Carmen — two Saskatchewan locals with deep farming roots and a shared passion for clean, local food. Carter grew up raising cattle and always dreamed of starting a market to showcase Saskatchewan-grown products. Carmen’s journey toward better health led her to source simple, natural ingredients from small producers.

When the two met, their values aligned — and during the 2020 lockdowns, they launched Carzan Local Market. That dream has since evolved into Carzan Local Meats, with their signature Grass-Fed Beef Jerky now stocked across Saskatchewan and beyond.
