For Éclair Lips founder Sylvie, lip balm has always been more than a daily essential — it became a calming lifeline. After discovering she was autistic as an adult, her lifelong love for lip balm made perfect sense because of the soothing glide, the comforting texture, and the focus it brought in social situations. It wasn’t just about flavour — it was about grounding and self-regulation.

As she grew older, Sylvie searched for a product that struck the right balance between joyful and nostalgic that also used clean ingredients and had a creamy, luxurious formula. Most natural lip balms were too waxy or plain, and fun flavours seemed to be reserved for kids.

So, she began making her own. She hyperfocused, experimented, and studied each and every ingredient until she perfected her signature formula: rich, smooth, long-lasting, and full of feel-good flavours that spark joy. In 2015, with the encouragement of friends and family, Éclair Lips was officially born.

In 2022, everything changed when behind-the-scenes videos of her process ended up going viral. The love and support that followed helped her business blossom, but the mission stayed the same — to make lip products that bring comfort, delight, and a bit of fun to everyday life.

Today, Éclair Lips is proudly run by Sylvie and her husband Mario, who wears many hats behind the scenes. From labeling and shipping to being the heart of operations (and the first to tear up reading customer notes), he does it all. Together, they’ve built a brand that reflects their values, celebrates neurodiversity, and gives their family the freedom to thrive.

Still small and proudly family-run, Éclair Lips proves that even the tiniest product can make a big impact — one soothing swipe at a time.
