Ergonofis began with a simple frustration that turned into a big idea. While juggling long workdays back in 2015, co-founder Samuel Finn realized that neither sitting nor standing all day felt right—and high-quality sit–stand desks were nearly impossible to find in North America. So he built his own makeshift version (yes, the first prototype sat on old car tires), and from that spark, a vision was born.

Teaming up with brand expert Kimberley Pontbriand, the pair set out to create a height-adjustable desk that wasn’t just functional, but beautiful—crafted with intention, designed for movement, and built to elevate everyday life. That mission became Ergonofis, and their now-iconic Sway Desk quickly earned a reputation for premium craftsmanship and seamless ergonomic design.

Today, Ergonofis has grown into a dedicated team of makers, designers, and problem-solvers in Quebec, all focused on reimagining the modern workspace. Their expanding collection includes height-adjustable desks, ergonomic seating, and refined accessories—each made with sustainably sourced materials and obsessively crafted details.

Even as the brand celebrates a decade of innovation, the heart of Ergonofis hasn’t changed: create products that feel as good as they look, last for years, and support well-being in every sense. This means thoughtful production, durable materials, responsible sourcing, and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship. They donate 1% of profits to the David Suzuki Foundation and volunteer each year with Quebec-based environmental organizations—because good design should also do good.
