Hemlock & Oak is proof that mindful design can look beautiful and do better for the planet. Founded by Tia Masic in Vancouver, the brand set out to challenge the plastic-heavy world of traditional stationery by creating thoughtfully crafted planners and paper goods using local production, post-consumer materials, and plastic-free packaging from top to bottom.

Every product is designed in-house, shaped by community feedback, and made in Canada—giving their small team total control over quality and sustainability. From 100% PCW book bands and tissue paper to recyclable shipping materials (yes, even the tape), Hemlock & Oak is committed to reducing waste and creating pieces that support value-driven, intentional living.

What started with their first Canadian-made planner in 2020 has grown into a passionate community of stationery lovers who care about craftsmanship, ethics, and long-term planning.
