HoneyBar was founded in 1987 by baker Frank Sardelis. It began with a simple, wholesome idea: combine just sesame and honey for a naturally sweet, satisfying snack. What started out as a small home business quickly grew into a Canadian favourite, with Frank’s daughter Mary expanding the lineup into six flavours and hundreds of local stores!

Over the years, HoneyBar has stayed true to its roots by creating nutritious, gluten-free, Kosher-certified snacks made without any artificial additives. With every milestone—from achieving HACCP and BRC certifications for safety and quality to opening a state-of-the-art facility—the brand has continued to innovate while keeping things simple and natural.

Today, HoneyBar offers a growing variety of bars, bites, and granola chunks, blending real nuts, seeds, and honey into snacks that are as wholesome as they are crave-worthy.
