Honibe started with a sticky backpack and a very real fear of bears. Founder John Rowe always swore by honey for its natural health benefits—but during a hiking trip, a shattered jar of honey in the middle of bear country sparked a big idea: what if honey could be turned into a mess-free, solid form?

John and his wife Sue got to work in their basement and ended up creating the world’s first solid honey product: the Honey Drop. It took off—literally. People across Canada fell in love with the idea, and even astronaut Chris Hadfield brought Honibe to space.

Today, Honibe makes a full line of honey-based wellness products—like vitamins, lozenges, and immune support—using real Canadian honey and none of the extra junk. No added sugars. No weird fillers. Just simple, good-for-you ingredients that work.
