King of Donair

🍕 The original taste of Canada’s first donair.

King of Donair has been serving up the authentic taste of Halifax with its legendary donairs, pizza, and subs Since 1973. Since then it has become a true East Coast classic that’s often imitated, never duplicated.

It all began on Quinpool Road in Halifax, Nova Scotia, when the first donair was introduced to Canada, inspired by a small tavern in Greece. Using a secret family recipe made with fresh, lean ground beef and their signature sweet donair sauce, King of Donair quickly became a household name all across Atlantic Canada.

Today, their commitment to fresh ingredients, handcrafted dough, and high-quality cheese continues to define their famous Donair Pizza and Sub. Nearly 50 years later, King of Donair remains the undisputed champion of Canada’s original donair tradition.
