🌱 From racehorses to raw honey

Kinghaven Farms started in 1967 as a thoroughbred racing and breeding operation started by the Willmot family. Today, it’s still proudly family-run, but the focus has grown to include sustainable farming, small-batch goods, and a deep commitment to the land. Tucked away in King Township, Ontario, the farm blends old-school values with forward-thinking practices.

Over the years, Kinghaven has gone from horsepower to solar power — installing more than 6,500 solar panels across five Ontario sites. These panels generate clean electricity (more than the farm uses) and have already saved the carbon equivalent of planting over 120,000 trees. Some of the installations are owned in partnership with the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory and Mississauga First Nation #8 — a collaboration that reflects the farm’s values of community and shared stewardship.

Kinghaven produces raw, unpasteurized honey right on their farm while using natural, bee-friendly methods. From their classic wildflower honey to their whipped, infused varieties, everything is made in small batches and churned by hand in a solar-powered honey house. It’s sweet, simple, and packed with vitamins, minerals, and natural nutrients.
