Little Bot Baby began in 2016 in Calgary when co-founders Jaclyn and Tao — two young parents working in the oil and gas industry — turned their love for baby products into a side project. What started as a small idea quickly grew into something much bigger when their now-famous Ofie Mat™ hit the parenting market and became a household favourite.

The goal was simple: to make a play mat that looked good and felt great. After endless testing, research, and feedback from real parents, they created a mat that checked every box — soft, safe, durable, and stylish enough to fit seamlessly into any home. The Ofie Mat’s neutral, Scandinavian-inspired designs blend effortlessly into nursery and living room spaces, proving that baby gear can be practical and beautiful.

Jaclyn leads the creative vision behind Little Bot with her eye for minimalist design, while Tao keeps everything running behind the scenes. Together, they’ve built a brand loved by parents across North America for its quality, comfort, and clean aesthetic.
