Loko Sport is a proudly Canadian brand creating stylish, eco-conscious activewear for women who move with purpose. Founded in 2006 by designer Sandra Maniago, the brand was born from a lifelong dream to blend fashion, movement, and sustainability into one empowering collection.

After graduating from Ryerson University’s Fashion Design Program, Sandra built her career in Toronto’s fashion scene—working as a pattern grader, seamstress for The National Ballet, and design assistant in a small activewear company. Eventually, she launched her own business, creating cheerleading and dance costumes for teams across Canada. Inspired by her own love of yoga, dance, and fitness, she began designing her own line of activewear—and Loko Sport took shape.

Loko Sport is more than just clothes. each and every piece is 100% designed and made in Canada, supporting local jobs and fair labour. By keeping production close to home, the brand avoids harmful import practices (like formaldehyde coatings) and ensures the highest standards in quality and sustainability.

Their materials are as thoughtful as their mission. From breathable, naturally wickable bamboo to Chitosante, a technical fabric derived from recycled shellfish with antibacterial properties, every fabric is chosen with performance and the planet in mind. Even their newest leopard print is made from recycled plastic bottles.

Over the years, Loko Sport has grown into a trusted name in boutique fitness fashion—valued for its flattering fits, durable construction, and feel-good values. The brand continues to empower women across Canada to move, sweat, and live boldly!
