Mid-Day Squares was born in a condo kitchen in Montreal, Quebec when founders Nick and Lezlie wanted something that felt like a chocolate bar but worked like fuel. The idea was simply to combine the benefits of a protein bar with the satisfaction of dark chocolate - without the junk. What started as a homemade experiment has grown into a full-on chocolate factory (yes, a real one!) that's still based in Montreal.

Each and every square is packed with superfood ingredients like cocoa, nuts, and oats, and they’re always vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, Non-GMO, and Fair Trade. You’ll find them in fridges across North America because they skip artificial preservatives and keep things real. Mid-Day Squares is still proudly Canadian—and still proving that chocolate can be both delicious and functional.
