Moose River Preserves

Moose River Preserves was inspired by a canoe trip through Northern Ontario in 2002. With little more than paddles, tents, and a love of good food, a young couple set off to explore some of the most remote rivers and lakes in Ontario and Quebec. On the banks of the Moose River, they paired homemade red pepper jelly with a wedge of cheese and realized they had stumbled on something special. They stumbled on the perfect mix of flavour, tradition, and the beauty of the Canadian outdoors!

That simple moment became the start of Moose River Preserves. Today, they craft small-batch jellies and preserves using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, choosing organic whenever possible. Each jar is made in their inspected facility with care, flavour, and a dedication to keeping things natural. More than just a condiment, Moose River Preserves is a way of bottling up the rustic charm of the north and sharing it with kitchens across Ontario and beyond.
