Pied-Mont Dora

🍓 A Quebec classic with 75 years of flavour and tradition.

Pied-Mont Dora has been a beloved part of Quebec’s food heritage for nearly three-quarters of a century. Founded in 1945 by the Limoges family in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, the company began as Conserves des Laurentides, canning seasonal vegetables like beans, corn, and pickles for local families.

Everything changed in 1960 with the launch of their Pied-Mont Dora jams—sweet, fragrant, and bursting with real fruit. From that moment on, the smell of simmering strawberries became part of the town’s identity, drifting through the Lower Laurentians and turning a small local cannery into a household name.

Today, Pied-Mont Dora continues to evolve while staying true to its roots. Their lineup now includes jams, spreads, sauces, and coulis, and they remain the only Canadian company to produce chocolate hazelnut spread—a point of pride for fans across the country. Blending modern methods with traditional know-how, the brand keeps delivering the same quality, flavour, and craftsmanship that families have trusted for generations.
