The brand was born when designer and new mom Natalie Dusome realized traditional handbags just weren’t cutting it. With a newborn in one arm and a sketchpad in the other, she created Poppy & Peonies to bridge the gap between fashion and real-life function.

Rooted in the Indigenous Seventh Generation Principle, the brand is passionate about sustainability. All products are cruelty-free, PETA-approved, and shipped plastic-free using recycled and biodegradable materials.

Poppy & Peonies also believes in giving back—raising funds and support for Indigenous communities and women’s shelters across Canada.
