The company was founded in 1973 by Henry and Lina Iacobelli, and began as a small tomato cannery in Ontario, then grew into a leading producer of canned tomatoes, sauces, beans, and pasta. The acquisition of Primo in 2006 added a full line of high-quality pasta made in Toronto, completing the company’s vision of offering wholesome, ready-to-enjoy meals.
