The Steeves family has been tapping maple trees in Elgin, New Brunswick since the 1700s - Long before it became a Canadian pantry staple! Back then, it was done with wooden spouts, open fires, and iron pots. Stories say it all started when sap from a tree dripped into a cooking pot by accident...and the rest is history.

Over the generations, the gear got better but the care stayed the same. Today, the Steeves family still makes syrup the traditional way — but with a twist. Their Original Canadian Maple Taste Syrup has the same rich flavour as classic maple syrup, just more consistent from bottle to bottle.
