Strange Tails is a Canadian dog gear brand founded by Jake and Savannah, inspired by their love for their dog, Finley. What began as a personal mission to create better, safer gear than what was available quickly grew into a full-fledged business that's committed to quality, function, and design. From the start, the goal was clear: build a system of products that work seamlessly together, combining durability with beautiful colours and handcrafted attention to detail.

Launched in 2021, Strange Tails draws on Jake’s background in construction and leatherwork alongside Savannah’s experience in project management to create gear that is both virtually indestructible and thoughtfully designed. As demand grew, the brand expanded from an apartment workspace into a dedicated East Vancouver workshop, now shipping thousands of orders worldwide. Community-driven and proudly handmade, Strange Tails creates dog gear owners can trust and dogs can rely on every day.
